Skill development of the Engineering Design Process: identify, research, plan & build, test, improve. Apply concepts of measurement, speed, balance, mechanical movement, and structure. Guided, Challenge, and Free Builds will focus on mastery of complex/compound machines preparing campers to incorporate basic coding & robotics at the end of the week.
Prerequisite:
- Incoming 2nd Grade PREREQUISITE: Must have completed Intro to LEGO Engineering Camp
- Incoming 3rd Grade Questions: Describe experience and skill-level with LEGOs (both creative free-building and following kit-based instructions.

Beginner Strings Camp offers new students a fun introduction to their string instrument, covering basic playing techniques, music reading, and ensemble skills. The camp concludes with a performance, allowing students to showcase their progress and gain confidence for the upcoming school year in orchestra.

This is a fun workshop for incoming band students. Participants will learn the basics of playing their selected band instrument, and will conclude with their very first performance! This workshop is highly recommended for incoming band students who are starting band for the first time. This will give students a head start for the upcoming year in band.

An introduction to CHCA High School Baseball. Your opportunity to learn what it is like to play for a championship level High School Baseball program. FLL Training Camp introduces and builds upon foundational skills used in competitive robotics. Campers will work in small groups to design and program a robot to complete various Missions on a table-top competition field. Campers will be challenged to develop their coding and problem-solving skills, expand their critical thinking skills and creative design solutions, and foster peer collaboration and a growth mindset.
Members of the 2024-2025 Lower School FLL Beak Squad Teams who attend camp will be challenged to fill skill-gaps and build upon their existing FLL knowledge and experience.

The college application process often weighs on students and families. Deadlines come quickly when students are balancing school, athletics, extracurricular activities, and work. Students can expect to complete the majority of their applications while workshopping essays with admission professionals, teachers, and counselors. Think of this as a summer class for applications.

New dance drop in classes are a great for busy families! The flexible punch card system allows for dancers to drop into the classes that best fit their schedule. Intermediate and advanced classes are offered in ballet, contemporary/lyrical, leaps and turns and stretch/strengthen.

An intensive week of dance training including pilates, ballet, modern, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary featuring our dance academy staff and guest teachers. Attendance is mandatory for all Dance Academy competitive team dancers. 9am-1:30pm will be reserved for intensive classes and then the Dance Academy team dancers will stay past 1:30pm to learn competition choreography.

StageStruck is a musical theater day camp. The students are trained in several areas: singing, dancing, acting, and improv. The purpose of StageStruck is to provide a creative atmosphere for students to stretch and “try their wings” in the performing arts. At the end of the camp, the students will present a full length original show.
