The Board of Trustees' focus last year to address all aspects of CHCA Athletics is yielding new opportunities for our athletes, coaches, musicians, and fans. The scoreboard at CHCA's Robert D. and Richard E. Lindner Stadium has served CHCA athletes for nearly 20 years. This summer, it has been replaced courtesy of private funding. Future opportunities for students and faculty to cultivate and share their talents via digital media will be a part of our stadium experience in support of our athletes and visiting teams. Eric Taylor, CHCA's new Athletic Director shares, "We are so excited and pleased to receive this new technology designed to benefit all our athletic programs." This digital scoreboard will provide dynamic scoring for events while featuring athletics news and achievements across youth, junior high, and varsity programs. CHCA Athletics is on mission to grow student-athletes' interests and skills at every age level across a variety of programs. Taylor shares further, "This cutting edge technology will provide a great opportunity for CHCA coaches and athletes to showcase "win twice" moments and achievements for our whole community to enjoy, while taking the game day experience to a new level." Owned by an outside entity (the school has no purchase expense with this board), this new scoreboard includes digital LED display opening new sponsorship opportunities for local companies as well.
We are thankful for the vision and interest of this CHCA community member to fund this new scoreboard and know that it will further the CHCA mission both on and off the athletic fields.
