Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is proud to announce that 134 students have earned The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). The PVSA is the premier national volunteer awards program, encouraging citizens to live a life of service. Those earning the prestigious service award receive presidential gratitude and national recognition.
Service hours are measured over a 12-month period and awards are designated based on cumulative hours. The awards are offered in multiple levels and are designed to recognize each milestone of service achievement. Levels include bronze, silver, gold, and the highest honor, the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for those who contribute more than 4,000 hours of service in their lifetime.

CHCA Director of Students Organized Service Rebecca Peltier shared,
These 134 students exemplify what it means to be servant leaders. They have taken the time to look at the world around them and put their time and energy at the service of compassion. We are inspired by the many areas of service they have dedicated themselves to – everything from working in local food pantries, tutoring children who need extra help, collecting items for disaster relief, to cooking meals for those experiencing homelessness. They serve from their passion to make the world a better place and it is a lesson for which we are all grateful!
