Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy’s competitive Beak Squad robotics team for Grades 5-6 recently competed at State and earned their way to compete at the VEX IQ World Robotics Championship in Dallas, Texas on 05/02/23 - 05/04/23. After months of planning, building, and competing, the students will meet and compete at this highest level alongside students from at least 25 other countries. This is the first time CHCA’s youngest robotics team members have competed at the world championship level. Sixteen students in all will be participating in the competition.
“Our Upper Elementary Beak Squad excelled this year,” shared CHCA Teacher and Lead Robotics Coach Rebeca Hardy. “This is our second year as a VEX IQ competition team and we could not have prayed for a better outcome. Each squad on our team has put in countless hours beyond typical practices. They have truly earned their place to compete at the VEX IQ World Championship this May!
