myUS Report Student Absence
Parents should submit this form (target by 8:30 a.m.) on the day your student is absent. Teachers will be notified and there is no need to also call the school.
- Assignments: Students who are absent are responsible for make-up work. They should check Canvas for assignments and email teachers directly regarding missed content and assignments. If the student’s absence is unexcused, they will not have an opportunity to make up work.
- Extended Absence: When planning an absence of 3 or more days, use this form to create your Extended Absence Form at least one week prior to the absence.
- Late Arrival to First Bell: A student is considered late arrival if they are not in their first bell class when the bell rings.
