Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS (Gr 4-5)

Auditions are required for all cast roles.

A. Prepare for Your Audition: (all files are in Key Links)

Song Audition - All girls and boys must learn BOTH song excerpts.  Use the 3 links for each song:

• Sheet music to learn the words
• Song track without words to practice
• Song track with words to learn the melody

Scene Audition

• Use the script excerpt to become familiar with the dialogue and practice reading in character. We may ask you to read for several different roles. Ask a parent or friend to practice with you.
• You DO NOT need to memorize this for auditions.
• You can print a copy to bring with you, and we will have extra copies at auditions.
• We may also ask you to read pages you have not seen yet. This is called a cold reading.
   

B. Sign Up to Audition

1. Complete your online registration. This single registration handles your ARSA (Audition Request and Student Agreement) including scheduling future payment of cast fees and Parent Volunteer forms.
2. All auditions are live, and there is only one day and one time for auditions. You need to be there for the ENTIRE audition time.
