Students will ride busses to the park, have a science activity, and practice Place-Based Writing. $0 but each students needs a completely disposable lunch that includes a beverage. Dress in weather appropriate camo (aka writing hike) attire as we'll be in the park. Registration closes 04/28/22 at 11:59 PM No chaperones are needed for this trip. |

What: UE 5 Field Trip to Cincinnati Zoo What to Wear: CHCA uniform (no spirit wear) What to Bring: A disposable packed lunch and beverage Cost: $12 Registration open 03/17/22 - 04/21/22 at 11:59 PM Questions: upperelementary.4-6@chca-oh.org or 513-247-9944 ext. 206 Chaperones: A limited number are needed. They will meet at the school at 8:00 a.m. then drive to the zoo; students are required to ride the bus. Please contact your student's homeroom teacher if interested. No chaperone fee but bring a disposable packed lunch and beverage. |

CHCA Field Trips are designed to connect students with our curriculum. This trip will cover the triangular trade route and explore the beginning of slavery in North America. Students will watch the film "Brothers of the Borderland" and discuss the economic and human impact of slavery. The day begins with a trip to the Freedom Center followed by a picnic at Smale Park. |

They will meet at the school at 9:00 a.m. then drive to the Freedom Center; students are required to ride the bus. Please contact your student's homeroom teacher if interested. This 5 minute process requires your driver's license + a 2nd form of identification (passport, SS card, or birth certificate) and is valid for 5 years. |

CHCA Field Trips are designed to connect students with our curriculum. Students will visit the Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center at the Cincinnati Museum Center as a culminating activity to our Quarter 3 Language Arts unit. They will tour the museum and hear a Holocaust survivor story firsthand or from a close relative of a survivor. |

Forte is the premier contemporary a cappella group at Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio. Forte has recorded seven albums and is the first-ever high school a cappella group to release a CD of all-original songs written by its members. |

Students will ride busses to Armleder to meet their AS Gr 4-6 pen pal and practice Place-Based Writing. “Place-Based Writing” means recognizing that writing is connected to the place, time, and context of our lives. With this in mind, students will research the history of Washington Park. $0 but each students needs a completely disposable lunch that includes a beverage.
