2020-2021 Studies:
“Rooted” by Mariners Church (Begins the week of 10/05/20) “Rooted” isn’t simply a bible study or a book. It is a community experience, where people practice 7 rhythms essential to a healthy relationship with Jesus. Individuals establish firm roots in the Truth of God’s Word through personal study and then come together to discuss what they’re learning in a space where they are safe and known.
“Get Out of Your Head” by Jennie Allen (January-February 2021) A six week biblical study designed to equip us to transform our emotions and our outlook by recognizing our God-given power to take control of our thoughts. The book and study guide are available for purchase on Christianbook.com or Amazon.
Galatians (March – April 2021) Galatians teaches us to embrace the freedom that is found by placing our faith in Christ alone and in living by love, not legalism. Specific study TBD.

Armleder Weekly Meeting
Father's Group (Saturday AM)
Join us to study material from Christian video series focused on fatherhood and manhood, book studies, and topical Bible studies. We will start with R.C. Sproul's “The I AMs of Jesus” which will complement the CHCA Women’s Bible Study series currently happening.
The goals of this group are:
- Create and build a sense of community among the fathers of CHCA students
- Establish a culture of accountability that will help each of us in our walk with Christ
- Introduce Christ and His precepts to those fathers who may not be too familiar with the Christian faith
- Enhance our working knowledge of the Bible and how it applies to us as Christian men and fathers
- Exchange ideas and personal experiences that will aid each of us in being better men, fathers, and husbands
- Collaborate and interact with members of other CHCA fellowship groups such as the Friday morning Father’s group for various outings and service projects.
In accomplishing these goals, we become better examples at home, and as we develop and refine the characteristics of a godly man, we can lead the way in further shaping and growing the culture both at home and at our school. This group opportunity promises to be challenging, thought-provoking and bond-forming.

Text to Pray
Start your day with a Prayerful Word
The Text2Pray (T2P) initiative invites our CHCA community to receive a prayerful verse, blessing your morning routine and connecting you with hundreds of others also in prayer. Our PTF Spiritual life team sends the prayerful verse every Monday and Thursday morning that school is in session and is about 155 characters long. An example:
Father, in all our work and even in our play, please guide our actions so that Your light shines and causes others to give praise, thanks, and glory to You. ”Matthew 5:16
