TriloGy for CHCA Women (Meeting Times Vary)
At CHCA, TriloGy is a community of women who Gather (together), Grow (to study God’s Word), and Go (do life together serving and loving others). Last year, over 140 women in our community experienced the joy of meeting and growing together in CHCA's fourth year of TriloGy. Every woman in our CHCA community is invited, whether you are new to CHCA, have been around for years, or are returning as an alumni or alumni parent. And all are welcomed, regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey.
How does TriloGy work?
- Each woman who signs up is placed into a TriloGy group for the school year, based on availability and/or group leader request.
- Each group meets weekly in someone's home or other mutual location, doing three different studies during the school year. Meanwhile, all the other CHCA TriloGy groups are meeting and studying the same content.
- Each woman has the opportunity to grow in community with her smaller TriloGy group while also studying the same content as many other CHCA women – connecting us all in a wonderful and powerful way.
What do we study and what does the year look like?
In addition to doing these 3 studies as a community, we also come together to serve, worship, and celebrate what God is doing in our lives. Our themes this year are Hope and Trust in God and Encouragement as Women. We are confident they will serve as both inspiration and challenge for us. The 3 studies are:
- Fall Study: "Jesus & Women" by Kristi McLelland: 8-week study, accompanied by ~20-minute excerpted videos to explore how Jesus generously restores dignity and honor to women in the first century and now.
- Winter Study: "Growing Slow" by Jennifer Dukes Lee: 6-week study guide with optional book is accompanied by 10-minute videos. The author, who grew up and now lives on an Iowa farm, helps us dig deep into Scripture to reveal how land is a picture of our slow growth into claiming the promises of God.
- Spring Study: "Life Lessons from 1 & 2 Peter" by Max Lucado: 6- or 9-week study that reminds us of our ultimate hope and how to live in the meantime. At its core, these books are a survival manual on how to act and respond when challenges come our way.

Volunteer Opportunities
- We are looking for someone to lead our TriloGy community service projects. Ideally, this woman would have a heart for serving others and the ability to plan/attend two community service events for TriloGy each year. Two is even better than one if you’d like to volunteer as a pair!
- We are also looking for someone to lead our TriloGy social media accounts. This involves regularly posting content to our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
If you’re interested in either of these, please email Jennifer.murphy0417@gmail.com by 09/06/23.
Leadership Team: Becky Droege, Melissa Hillis, Wendy Mitchell, Jennifer Murphy and Lesley Price
