Beyond the Lower School Day

This is a pre-registered, "pay-to-stay" program. Before your child can attend, you must:

1. Register online to schedule monthly payments to be automatically withdrawn from your checking account or your credit card (3% convenience fee added). This is where you choose the program option best for your family (REGULAR or AS NEEDED) and apply any discounts.

Students may participate in ON-SITE extra-curricular activities at any time if stated on your child's monthly calendar. Staff escorts students to and from all activities, except individual tutoring and lessons where instructors sign students in/out.

If you think you are going to be late picking up your child, please notify the Program Director immediately at 513-222-2603. Parents who arrive later than 6:00 p.m. will have these additional overtime fees automatically added to your monthly bill. 3 or more late pick ups could disrupt enrollment in this program.

6:01 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. daily rate + $15.75 fee
6:16 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. daily rate + $26.25 fee
6:31 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. daily rate + $36.75 fee
6:46 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. daily rate + $47.25 fee

A parent or authorized adult will sign the child out of the program each day and should be prepared to show appropriate ID upon pick-up. Children will be permitted to leave with persons other than the parent only if written or verbal permission has been provided to program leaders and ID must be provided upon pick-up.  Parents must notify program leaders of other authorized adults at Eagles.Landing@chca-oh.org or call 513-222-2603. 

If your child attends after school activities (e.g. tutoring, soccer, Melody Makers, etc.) these must be communicated via your child’s monthly calendar. Make changes to your child’s calendar by emailing Eagles.Landing@chca-oh.org or call 513-222-2603. For safety’s sake, your child must check in with us and then proceed to their activity.

Our program is designed to be a year-long commitment; however, there is no contract. A parent can discontinue use at the end of any quarter by notifying the Program Director at Eagles.Landing@chca-oh.org at least one month in advance. A final billing will be issued the month following the end of the quarter.

Our purpose is to provide a positive and safe environment for all Grade KPrep – 3 students who need supervision after school.  Program staff partner with parents when a student compromises this goal.  Although unfortunate, a child can be temporarily suspended or dismissed from the program if their choices put the safety of others at risk.

• Students must sign in upon arrival and before attending any after school activity.
• A parent or authorized person must enter the UE lobby and call the EZ phone for a student to be dismissed.
• Students are not allowed to use cell phones or personal electronic devices during EZ.
• Students will have access to EZ laptops for homework or CHCA approved games.
• We are only responsible for your student(s) while they are signed into EZ.

After-school activities:

• We must have your written permission for your child to attend an after-school activity. Email Eagles.Zone@chca-oh.org and include start time, location, and if your child will return to EZ following the activity.  Without written permission, we cannot dismiss your student to leave EZ.
• For safety, your child must check in with the EZ prior to attending afterschool activities. This ensures we know to wait for them to return before closing EZ for the day.
• EZ remains open until 6:00 p.m. only if students are present or expected to return.
• For safety, any students attending activities at EBL campus must have a buddy or teammate to walk with them. If one is not available, a coach or designated adult must pick up your student from Founders’ Campus.
• For safety, no students are allowed to walk to EBL after dusk. Please make arrangements for your child to get to EBL practices during the winter months.
• EZ will remain open until 6:00 p.m. only if students are present or expected to return.

• Should plans change or an event be cancelled, please email Eagles.Zone@chca-oh.org or call the EZ phone if after 3:15 p.m.

Payment Policies

• At 3:30 p.m., any student present, or sent to EZ from carpool, will be charged for the entire day regardless of when your child is signed out.
• Due to the overall value of our program pricing, no adjustments will be made for missed days (school breaks, snow days, unexpected school closings, illness, etc.).
• Eagle’s Zone will be closed the day of the Homecoming Festival, first day of Parent/Teacher Conferences, the day before Thanksgiving Break, and the day before Spring Break.
• Enrollment in the program may be terminated if account is not kept current.

Parents or authorized adult must enter the UE lobby and call the Eagle’s Zone phone to pick up child. Eagle’s Zone does not require a parent to sign out, but we do require lobby entry for security camera verification. Please be prepared to show appropriate ID upon pick-up.

Children will be allowed to leave with persons other than “authorized pick-up” individuals only if written or verbal permission has been given to the school by the custodial parent(s).

A final billing will be issued the month following the end of the use.
