What is the TED-Ed Student Talks Permission form?
A legally binding document protecting each TED-Ed Student Talks participant (student) and TED-Ed from any potential legal liability in relation to children under the age of 18 participating in our program.

Why do we require parents to sign this form?
As TED-Ed Student Talks participants are under the age of 18, legally we require parental permission for them to participate in the program. Parents take responsibility for their child participating in the program and confirm the things they agree for their child to participate in (program itself, participation in online events hosted by TED-Ed, publishing of their child’s video on a public YouTube channel).
