Armleder TrueDefense Club

Grade Levels: 1-6
Purpose: Learn how to protect yourself and perform martial art skills. We will relate the Word of God to protecting self and others while having a great time and getting a hard work-out!
Schedule:

Season 1: 09/11/23 - 12/18/23  (Not 10/30/23 Fall Break)

Season 2: 01/22/24 - 05/13/24 (Not 02/19/24 Presidents' Day; 03/11/24 Faculty In-Service; 03/25/24 or 04/01/24 Spring Break)
Practice Schedule: Mondays  3:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  (Season 2 Demo Team Students stay until 4:30)
                  4:15 p.m. - Students not picked up from AS Lobby will be sent to Armleder Afterschool Achievers for a daily charge
Practice Location: Armleder Gym
Cost: True Defense: $50 per 14 or 13 week session, includes uniform pants and Tshirt

Armleder Afterschool Achievers: $25 registration if not already registered; $11.55 each day this child attends regardless of how long they stay. Nonrefundable, $11.55 collected in full at registration.
Anticipated # of Students: 8-15
Expected Parent Involvement:
  • Pick up students by 4:15 p.m. from the AS Lobby or they will be sent to Armleder Achievers for a daily change.
  • Read email communications.
  • Please notify sponsor if your student will NOT be attending training on any given day.
  • Students may bring a snack and a water bottle for the start of practice
Notes: Mr. Korchak has 40+ years of martial art and combative training.  He is a master level teacher in over a dozen martial arts and former Collegiate All-American and world medalist in taekwondo.  Additionally he has trained self defense at U.C., X.U, and many local high schools and businesses.
