Bible Bowl

Grade Levels: 3-5
Purpose:

Bible Bowl is an academic competition program that helps students learn the Word through study and local competitions.

A selected book or books of the Bible is determined as the text that season. A team competes against another team over a selected segment of the text; the team with the most points at the end of the game wins!
Months: September - February
Practice Schedule: Thursdays from 3:15 - 5:00 p.m.
Armleder Classroom #419
Competition Schedule: In our local division, the 1st Saturday of October, November, December and February.
All competitions are within 2 hours of Armleder.
Cost: $100 (covers student fees for local and national teams, student study materials and a portion of the team practice materials)
Anticipated # of Students:

8-10
Expected Parent Involvement: Parents transport their children to competitions and help students with weekly studying
Notes:
  • Students must sign an academic contract acknowledging they must maintain a “C” average in all classes to be eligible to compete in competitions.
