Audition Registration Is Open for ArtBeat 2021

The 23rd Annual ArtBeat Fine Arts Festival will be presented virtually April 6 to 15, 2021 and will showcase the variety of arts and student artists from PK through Gr 12 at CHCA. ArtBeat auditions for performing arts are Monday, 02/01/21, Wednesday, 02/03/21 and Tuesday, 02/09/21 from 4:00 - 8:30 p.m. in Lindner Theater, and are open to all students. We are seeking high-quality acts in all areas of the performing arts – vocal, instrumental, drama, dance etc. To register for an audition, go to the ArtBeat homepage www.chca-oh.org/artbeat where you will find all the details, links, and deadlines. Students selected to perform for Virtual ArtBeat will be scheduled to be professionally recorded for the online presentation. Recording will happen over 7 days Monday - Thursday 03/22 - 03/25/21 and Monday - Wednesday 03/29 - 03/31/21, with like acts recorded on the same day to minimize stage set-up.

The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley JR . Opens Friday, 01/15/21.

The Gr 6-8 production of The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley JR is coming to Lindner Theater for three shows, Friday, 01/15/21 and Saturday, 01/16/21 at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, 01/17/21 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are currently open to families of cast and crew. Should there be any remaining seats available on Monday, 01/11/21, they will be open to the public. Tickets are $10 and can only be purchased through the Fine Arts Office by calling 247-9944 ext. 260 during office hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. This is the only way to experience this year's show, because unlike Frozen KIDS and Reckless, we do not have streaming rights for The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley JR.

Creatively support our young thespians by purchasing Theater Cutouts of family and friends who can't attend in person! Grandparents, cousins, neighbors, furry friends are all welcome! Join the fun and order your Theater Cutouts here by Friday, 01/08/21 for this show!

Consider purchasing Candygrams here! It's a fun way to encourage the cast and crew. Sales are open until Wednesday, 01/13/20 at 11:59 p.m.

Families of cast and crew may order Blu-Rays at $30 each here until 01/22/21.

Please update your calendars for two changes in upcoming Fine Arts Events. All tickets must be purchased through the Fine Arts Office by calling 247-9944 ext. 260 during office hours.

There is a time change regarding the Electric Jazz Orchestra concert on 01/30/21. The concert now begins at 4:00 p.m. in Lindner Theater. Ticketing becomes available to everyone after 01/22/21.

The Off the Cuff improv show has moved to 02/05/21 at 7:00 p.m. in Lindner Theater. Ticketing becomes available to everyone after 01/15/21.
