Mrs. Kathy Wesson, UE Administrative Assistant

Have you ever wondered how to volunteer on the UE campus? Wondered what parents do for Back-to-School Kick-Off, UE Socials, Field Day, Operation Impact, class parties, student birthdays or just helping teachers and the office as needed? We have spots for parents to be on campus once a week, month or quarter and if you work outside the home or not. Even if your kids think they don't need you...we need you! Click on the title for more details on how to volunteer at the Upper Elementary.

This week's Beacons of the Week are the leaders of CHCA's Student Organized Service. These dedicated students were recognized at a breakfast this past week for their time and hard work as they led service teams this school year. Click on the title to read about the inspired ways they, and all of SOS, have blessed the community.

Dorian Cucinotta, RN, MSN, LSN, NCSN

Are you RN and would you like to join our team of sub nurses who occasionally fill in for our building nurses when they are off ill or at a conference? This is a paid position and the only requirements are a current Ohio nursing license and CPR card. If interested please email dorie.cucinotta@chca-oh.org to learn more.

EBL Kindergarten Teachers

Please consider donating any Legos that you do not need any more to EBL Kindergarten. They are collecting basic sized Legos for classroom innovation centers. There will be collection boxes located in the lobbies at the Upper School, Founder’s Campus, and at EBL. Just put Legos in plastic baggies and drop them off.  We really appreciate any donations, even little bags!  We will be collecting them until the end of this school year.

Sandy Breitholle, ECLC and Lower E Principal

The Lower Elementary cordially invites you to attend a retirement reception in honor of Mrs. Sally Hall, Mrs. Suzanne Kloster and Mrs. Diane Goebel.  Drop by on Tuesday, 05/28/2019 from 3:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Piazza of our ECLC.  Light refreshments will be served.

Karen Hordinski, Student Outreach

Thank you for the donations to the 2019 SOS Rummage Sale! This sale was our biggest yet. We earned $3501.63 for Eagle’s H2O For Life Schools. We couldn’t have done it without you! Our unsold donations went to several area nonprofits and will keep on giving. Additionally, we were excited to see how many families were blessed by access to good clothing and general household items. Over 250 people shopped at our rummage sale. From the bottom of our heart, CHCA Families, WE THANK YOU!!
