Gr 5 students have a field trip to the Ohio Supreme Court and National Veterans Museum and Memorial in Columbus tomorrow, Friday, 11/30/18, 8:15 a.m.- 4:15 p.m. 

Due to the grade 5 field trip to Columbus this Friday, two separate days:  Friday, 11/30/18, for students in grades 4 and 6 and Monday, 12/03/18, for grade 5 students only. Helpful tips: characters should be from a book, please no masks, scary or excessive face paint. Props must stay in lockers with the exception of recess time.

The CHCA community wishes to congratulate grade 7 student Jacob Kaesemeyer for winning the CHCA Geography Bee and becoming our 2018 school champion! Jacob is one of 35 students in grades 5-7 that competed in this year’s bee at the Founders’ Campus. All students did a great job answering many questions about United States and world geography. Jacob will now take a qualifying exam to compete in the state level geography bee held in March at The Ohio State University. Best of luck to you, Jacob!

Elementary schools in Paradise, California have started gathering books to rebuild school libraries lost to recent fires. We are collecting gently used books through 12/07/18 in Buckman Commons. Students may also opt to purchase a new book or two from the book fair to donate.

Daily fair hours: 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.  Also during the UE Christmas Concert from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

The Box Top count for quarter two will be on Monday, 12/17/18. The winning grade will be announced on Wednesday, 12/19/18. The grade level to collect the most Box Tops will earn a week of lunch enjoying fun tunes in the cafeteria. Put all box tops in the grade-level designated box located in the UE Cafeteria!
