Tomorrow we will once again have a Spirit Day to honor our Eagles Football team. Wear your favorite spirit attire with uniform bottoms.

Energy!, a COSI on Wheels program, will be at EBL on Thursday, Dec. 6, and we could use YOUR help!  Parent volunteers are needed for the morning and/or afternoon sessions to help students do experiments with magnetism, motion, and electricity.   Contact susan.simmons@chca-oh.org or your child’s teacher with any questions and to volunteer. We can’t do this without YOU!

All of the Chapel music we sing can be found on Youtube or Spotify. I have a Youtube playlist under Emaline Allen titled Chapel Music and a playlist on Spotify under Emaline Allen titled Chapel Music. On my Youtube page there is also a K-1 Christmas song playlist; while it is not the exact version of each of the songs they are doing listening to the videos will help with the words. The songs for the musical are on my google drive and it should have been sent out to all 2^nd and 3^rd grade parents. If anyone did not receive it please email me at Emaline.allen@chca-oh.org and I will send the link.

Now that we are experiencing much cooler and or damp weather, the need for a jacket, pants and long sleeves has arrived.  Please bundle up your children for the changing temperatures.  Thank you

Melody Makers will be performing at the high school’s Veteran’s Day Concert at 3:00 p.m. 11/11/18 and would love to have the support of their classmates at their first performance! They will also be performing at Fountain Square on 12/08/18 at 1:00 p.m. Both performances are free and families can go ice skating in Fountain Square after the performance if they would like!

For all Grades PK2 - Grade 3.  During the week of 11/12 - 11/16/18, we will be collecting filled shoe boxes to send to children all around the world.  Please send in your box(s) to your child's classroom no later than next Friday, 11/16/18, after chapel, we will call each class to the front foyer for a photo op.  Any boxes brought in after that time we cannot assure will be taken with our donations. 

Gr K & 1 Christmas Program

The Kindergarten and First grade students are excited to put on their concert titled Here We Go A-Caroling on 11/30/18 at 6:00 p.m. at Montgomery Community Church. This show will feature numerous instruments as well as their lovely voices! 

Gr 2 & 3 Grade Musical

This year the Second and Third students will be performing in the exciting new Brentwood Benson Christmas Musical titled The Christmas Express! The show will be at 7:30 p.m. on 11/30/18 at Montgomery Community Church.  

Candy Grams

Please look for a flyer in your child's backpacks tomorrow concerning the sale of Candy Grams. Parents of K-3 students, the Music Department needs donations of candy and non-candy items for the Candy Grams for our upcoming musical program.  The following candy is acceptable: taffy candy, hard candy such as peppermints or mini candy canes, and lollipops.  Non-candy items that can be donated:  Christmas stickers, erasers, or pencils.  Donations can be sent into school until November 30^th.  Please drop off your donations to the front office. Thank you in advance for your help in making this fundraiser a success!
