Parents should call the school attendance line 247-9944 ext. 802 or email lynn.shank@chca-oh.org no later than 8:30 a.m. if your student is going to be absent or late to school for any reason.

Upper School 9-12 Front Office

As a reminder, the Upper School grades 9-12 is a closed campus.  Underclassmen must attend all classes, this includes study halls and PRTs. These classes all count toward the state’s minimum requirements.  If your student is not a senior, please note that they are not to use PRT as a late arrival or early release. The privileges of open campus, late arrival, and early dismissal belong to seniors only.

SOS Volunteer Fair Was A Huge Success!

There were hundreds of sign-ups for our 33 Student Organized Service teams.  New groups for 2018-19 include:  Letters Abroad (on line reading to children in China), The Healing Center (sort donations for families in need), and Armleder Lacrosse (teach skills and leadership to kids).  SOS has groups that serve children, elderly, homeless, soldiers, and more.  Our teams get students involved in direct and indirect service opportunities.  It's life-changing and has measureable impact for all involved!  Students can still sign up to participate in the SOS room.

Next Week is Huddle Up for Hope Week!

Ainsley Droege, Class of 2020

SOS will have a bake sale (everything $1) and a t-shirt sale ($12) during all PRT's on Tuesday, 09/11/18 - Friday 9/14/18 at the MSL Upper School.  We are raising money to fight the skin cancer disease, melanoma.  The Huddle Up for Hope t-shirts are the official t-shirt for the black out game against Holy Cross next Friday, 09/14/18.  Buy one  each member of the family!

Spirit Night At Cane's!

Ainsley Droege, Class of 2020

Monday, 09/17/18, 4:00-9:00 p.m. at 3901 Montgomery rd., 45041.  This fundraiser supports our Huddle Up for Hope fundraiser to fight melanoma.  Pick up a flyer at the MSL High School front desk or print a flyer to take with you from next week's Campus Connection.  The printed flyer is a requirement for us to receive credit for the fundraiser.

A secure Parent Portal on CHCA's website will now house CHCA's PTF Family Directory for this school year. This will replace the printed version, and will be more cost-effective, more secure, and current with real-time information. Details regarding access to the portal and the directory itself will be provided to current families, faculty, and staff within the next couple of weeks. Many thanks to the PTF team for their time and thought in the design of this new secure resource! For questions, contact webmaster@chca-oh.org
