The spotlight this week shines on grade 6 for representing Armleder in the 99th annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade during spring break.  These incredible young people created and decorated the float.  Shout out to Ms. McKittrick, Mr. Rhodes (CHCA Eagle), and Mr. Thomas (driver), for helping to make this day a success.  Share your ideas for the 100th year.

Habits at Home

Habit 3 is Put First Things First.  Prioritize for your child’s success by putting the most important things first.  What are the big rocks for parent involvement at Armleder? Ensuring you/your child has:

·       Adequate rest.  Children need 8-10 hours of sleep each night.

·       Nutritious meals.  Children need a healthy breakfast and lunch each day for school.

·       Attends school every day on time in school uniform.

·       Read/respond to email communications, phone calls, conferences, and deadlines.

·       Complete all homework assignments and weekly Bible verse memorization.

Now is the time to complete your 2018-2019 FACTS application.  Your 2018-2019 financial aid calculation/scholarship is based on this report, so please make this a priority. Armleder students will join the north campus students for a fun-filled day of hands-on learning and activities on Friday, 05/18/18, 8:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.  Please follow the link to register your student and pay the $25 fee no later than 04/18/18.  If you have questions, please let Ms. Ellis (sheri.ellis@chca-oh.org) know as soon as possible.  Additional information about this trip will be included in future communication, so please stay tuned.

A CHCA Team for the Cincinnati Kids Flying Pig Marathon is now forming. The required registration is on the Flying Pig Website and ends 04/22/18. Click here to register.  After completing the first 25 miles of the marathon, in small increments and at your own pace, you will join the Flying Pig Kids’ Marathon 26th Mile on Saturday, 05/05/18, 12:00 p.m. at Cincinnati’s riverfront.
