Parents can help their children be mentally and physically at their best for the ERB testing, Monday, 4/23/18- Friday, 4/26/18, by reassuring them it is not to be feared. Encourage a positive, confident attitude and be sure students are well-rested, non-rushed, and have a healthy breakfast. Attendance is very important but there will be make-ups if a student is ill.

Standardized testing is the week of Monday, 04/23/18. Please do not schedule appointments for your child during the testing times. Testing should be completed by 11:00 a.m. each morning. 

A CHCA Team for the Cincinnati Kids Flying Pig Marathon is now forming. The required registration is on the Flying Pig Website and ends 04/22/18. Click here to sign up.  After completing the first 25 miles of the marathon, in small increments and at your own pace, you will join the Flying Pig Kids’ Marathon 26^th Mile on Saturday, 05/05/18 at 12:00 p.m. at Cincinnati’s riverfront. This is a special event designed for children 5-12 and their fitness buddies to cover the final marathon mile on the real Flying Pig Marathon course. After joining, you will receive an email with additional team details. Contact Susan Zwarg@chca-oh.org or meganboni@hotmail.com with questions. Come join the fun at the “Finish Swine”!

Spring training is in full swing and you know what that means - time to get your Reds tickets with the Melody Makers! Join us early at Great American Ball Park when the Melody Makers sing our national anthem before the Reds host the Marlins on Friday, 05/04/18 at 7:10 p.m., then plan to stay for the post-game fireworks! What a great night for our families to sit together for a fun night downtown. This camp will allow students to take something about which they have a passion and innovatively and creatively design a solution.  Along the way, they will learn the Google design process, collaborate with their peers, and design their very own app. Only five spots remaining!
