If you are interested in helping with the Grade 8 Passages Dance on Thursday, 05/31/18, please email Mrs. Metzger.
You may still order a 7-8 Upper School yearbook online until the end of April. We will have a very small number of extra books available, so be sure to order the yearbook now so that your student is not left out. To order, go to www.jostensyearbooks.com. Then select the white “Shop Yearbooks” button in the center of the page. You will be prompted to search for our school. Enter “CHCA”—you’ll see the 7th and 8th grade yearbook option pop up. ERB Testing will be the week of April 23. Please make sure your student eats a good breakfast and is in attendance that week.
If you signed up, the Bigger and Better Social (Scavenger hunt) is Saturday, 04/07/18 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Meet at 7/8 gym. Any medication the students need will have to be carried by that student during the social.
Enriching Kidz is once again offering Better Babysitters class for boys and girls in grades 5-8. Students learn first aid skills and basic childcare techniques. Go to MyUpperSchool webpage and click on School Year Info.

Girls Bible Study led by Junior, Abby Jutt; will meet 7:15 a.m.- 7:45 a.m. in Mrs. Bowman's room W230 on the following Fridays: 04/06 ,04/20, 05/11. The girls will be using the YouVersion bible app studying "True Beauty Begins in the Heart" 30 day devotional for teenage girls.

AFTER PROM VOLUNTEERS: Can you give a few hours of your time? The after prom team could use an extra pair of hands the weekend of Friday, 04/20 to Sunday, 04/22. Whether it’s unloading/loading, hanging decorations, cleaning up, greeting volunteers at the door, or staying overnight, we’ve got a place for you. To register to volunteer, click here.
AFTER PROM DONATIONS: Can you help make the event enjoyable for our students by donating items for After Prom. Food/ Items can be dropped off Friday, 04/20 from 8:00a.m.- 10:00 p.m. or Saturday, 04/21 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. To sign up use this link.
If your student’s classroom is participating on the house building event this Wednesday, 4/10/18 during school hours, or if your student would like to sign up to build the house during their PRT, your student must be registered on UltraCamp. Event is free but electronic permission slip must be completed. There are 17 classes participating including some of the classes taught by: Parker, Snell, Fitzstephens, Hilderbrand, Dongell, Kramer, Ciarniello, Lynch. Check with your student to see if their class is participating.

On Saturday, 04/21/18 from 7:30-9:00 p.m., you are invited to the Preview of After-Prom 2018, Cirque du CHCA. While the juniors and seniors are at The Manor House for Prom, come see how our talented volunteers have created an experience that presents our students with “The Greatest Show on Earth”. Guests will be able to tour the event and enjoy some of the activities. Please enter through the outside gym doors.
