We are excited to announce our 2018 summer course offerings. This includes twelve summer courses for credit available to students that will be entering Grades 9-12 in the fall of 2018. The summer course schedule and registration can be found here. chca-oh.org/summer

Are you feeling tired? The next Leaning Eagle Mini-Cup Coffee Bar will be Thursday, 03/01/18 before school, lunch and during SDL. Serving MSL Leaning Eagle Coffee Drinks, hot chocolate, lemonade and fresh baked goods. Items range from $1-3 per item.
As a follow up to this week’s Grade 8 Scheduling Program, small group workshops will be offered during the next two weeks. We will address individual questions and assist with input of the schedule. The workshops will be held at the Founders Campus in room W222 on:

Girls Bible Study led by Junior, Abby Jutt; will meet 7:15 a.m.- 7:45 a.m. in Mrs. Bowman's room W230 on the following Fridays: 03/16, 04/06 ,04/20, 05/11. The girls will be using the YouVersion bible app studying "True Beauty Begins in the Heart" 30 day devotional for teenage girls.

Artistic Volunteers Needed! Join us Saturday, 02/24/18 for a STAR event hosted by Jack Paquette in which we will be working with refugees to make signs of hope. We have wood boards that participants will partner and paint words/images of signs of hope. 4-7pm. New food experiences and get to know someone from another part of the world. Dance Marathon will be held on Saturday, 02/24/18. The Marathon will be held in the cafeteria of the Upper School from 9:00 pm-12:00 am. Registration is required and students can register in Miracle Commons 02/14-02/23. This is a fundraiser for SOS Success for Sri Lanka.

Our International Program team will be heading to Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai in two weeks to visit with prospective families and groups who may be interested in CHCA. If you know someone we could connect with, please send their information our way! We’d love to meet and share with them all that CHCA has to offer students who wish to study abroad. Consider continuing to use this guide each month after, as it will not lose its relevance.
Word-of-mouth is the number one reason new families come to CHCA. There are lots of ways we can share our CHCA experience with friends and families. (1) invite them to our upcoming Open House on 02/24/18 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (2) like CHCA on Facebook and give us a great review! (3) give us great reviews on other sites such as Google and Niche. (4) refer someone you think would be a great fit for CHCA. Because you referred them, we waive the application fee if they choose to apply. Hospitality, greeters, and tour guides are all needed. Together we can introduce CHCA to the many students and their families who will visit the campus for Open House. Come share in the fun!
