My perspective originates in my own childhood.  I grew up in a family with five boys; five years and eight months between the oldest and the youngest.  Clearly, I did not grow up with the pressures our students face today, but my mom and dad believed that to be ultimately successful as adults, we needed to own our reality. Congrats to this week's Beacons of the Week, the Upper School Academic Team, who won the Cincinnati Academic League Tournament this past weekend! Led by Mr. Tim Hilderbrand, the team consists of Patrick Bruns, Nick Donahue, Charlotte Lee, Cade Reinberger, and Quin Wilson. This talented team beat Indian Hill 70-46 in the championship round.

Word-of-mouth is the number one reason new families come to CHCA. There are lots of ways we can share our CHCA experience with friends and families. (1) invite them to our upcoming Open House on 02/24/18 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (2) like CHCA on Facebook and give us a great review! (3) give us great reviews on other sites such as Google and Niche. (4) refer someone you think would be a great fit for CHCA. Because you referred them, we waive the application fee if they choose to apply. If they enroll a student and list you as their referral at time of enrollment, you receive a $500 tuition credit on your '18-'19 tuition bill! Learn more on our shareCHCA page.

We hope you will extend an invitation to a friend to join us for Open House at the North Campus and Armleder on Saturday, 02/24/18 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. It is a great opportunity for families to speak to our teachers, principals, and students and to catch a glimpse of what makes CHCA such a vibrant community. Please consider volunteering with us for Open House at the North Campus and Armleder on Saturday, 02/24/18 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. A variety of volunteer roles are needed and there is a place for everyone to join in the fun! Hospitality, greeters, and tour guides are all needed. Together we can introduce CHCA to the many students and their families who will visit the campus for Open House. Come share in the fun! Would you consider placing an Open House sign in your yard to help spread the word about our Open House on Saturday, 02/24/18 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.? A visual reminder is a great way to welcome new families to explore CHCA! Pick up a yard sign at the front desk of your student's building. If you have any questions, you may email Tammy Rosenfeldt.

On 01/16/18, you received an email with a link to complete online reenrollment for returning students for the 2018-2019 school year. Submit your reenrollment contract by the 02/14/18 deadline to pay the reduced reenrollment deposit and secure your student's enrollment for next year. Each year CHCA invites the community to help support the mission with a charitable gift to the CHCA Annual Fund.
