We are collecting old bed sheets for use in the upcoming grades 1-3 spring concert. If you have any to donate, please send them.  We need four to five top sheets (not fitted sheets or pillow cases).

Grade 3 families are invited to join us on Friday, 02/23/18, 8:30-11:00 a.m. in room 306 for the Armleder Wax Museum event.  Students will be dressed as wax figures of African American heroes they have chosen to research.  Each child will be presenting  in a “walk-through” format, so you can arrive any time that works for you between 8:30-11:00 a.m.  Please join us, and be sure to reserve a parking space in advance at 721-2422.

Ready to learn what’s ahead in the Upper School 7-12 program?  Join Dr. Nicholas and Mrs. Metzger for an Upper School Preview breakfast on Saturday, 02/24/18,  9:00-10:00 a.m. followed by an Open House at Founders’ Campus to meet Upper 7-8 faculty, visit classrooms, and learn about the curricular opportunities which begin in grade 7.  This event is a great opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and colleagues.

CHCA is once again partnering with Montgomery Community Church for the 07/09/18-07/13/18 camp.  SpringHill Day Camp welcomes students who have completed grades K-5 and includes small group Bible teaching, high-energy large group sessions, and adventure such as archery, bungee trampoline, camp songs, climbing wall, crafts, and more.  Registration will open on 02/14/18.  Note: The camp fee is $189 through 02/21/18 and then increases to $199 on 02/22/18-06/01/18.  After 06/01/18, the price increases to $219.

Refer to 12/15/17 email with details about registering for youth spring sports! Grades K-6 register in UltraCamp.  Grades K-6 Track and Field registration closes 02/09/18. As always, check the athletic website for more information and important dates!

Each year we review our merit scholarships to ensure we recognize our students who excel academically and/or make an impact on our school community. The Cum Laude Scholarships are significant awards that recognize academically gifted students with proven achievement.  Current students in grades 6-8 who would like to be considered must take the Independent Schools Entrance Exam (ISEE). The exam is offered by the Admissions Office on the following dates:

• Saturday, 4/7/18 (registration deadline 3/17/18*)
