US 12:  2:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Get a jump on the new school year and be prepared for the first day of school. Join us for this open house style event and:

  1. Use their Five Star app to scan into the Simpson Innovation Space where the Counseling Department will hand you your complete schedule including their Connection Bell and locker assignment.
  2. Organize and decorate your locker.
  3. Have your school yearbook/ID photo taken as this is the scheduled Upper 10-12 picture day. Details and pre-ordering information posted with the Back to School information.
  4. Turn in your School Supplies at the front desk:
US 10:  Minimum 2 boxes of tissues + 3 pads of post-it notes + 2 bottles hand sanitizer
US 11:  Minimum 2 boxes of tissues + 2 packages of blue or black pens + 1 package of dry erase markers (regular-sized, not skinny)
US 12:  Minimum 2 boxes of tissues + 2 packages of dry erase markers (regular-sized, not skinny) + 1 bottle hand sanitizer
  5. Get your parking pass if you have registered for parking on Ultracamp
  6. Turn in All medicines (epi-pens, Inhalers, OTC medicines) in a Ziplock bag with the student’s name marked clearly on the bag. All medications must be in their original container with the prescription label OR a new, unopened bottle of over-the-counter medications labeled with your student’s name. Students will give these to the Nurse so they have them for the first day of school.  All your medical forms should be submitted on Magnus Health, accessible through your Veracross account, before the first day of school.  Please email with questions.
  7. Senior cap and gown pick-up -- You'll need it for Convocation

Note: Although freshman and US 10-12 new-to-CHCA students are welcome to come, they aren't required to come as everything that happens at Kickoff happens at those orientations.
