Getting out of your comfort zone is something God wants you to do. It's where extraordinary things happen.CHCA Upper School Student

Welcome to one of the top schools in Cincinnati for Fine Arts.

The wide range of visual & performing arts means your student can discover, cultivate, and hone their gifts.
Top-notch facilities and outstanding teachers mean they get the best conditions in which to grow, be challenged, and do their best work.

The arts inspire.

The arts are incredibly inspiring to young minds—one look at a child’s face as she masters “Twinkle, twinkle” on the violin or brings home a lovingly crafted piece of stained glass, and you can see it so clearly. That’s why fostering creative expression is an intentional pursuit at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy—the arts aren’t just about displaying beauty, they’re a way to convey joy, tell a story, connect to one another, and share God’s gifts.

The arts engage.

At every grade level, CHCA students are encouraged to sing, play, act, dance, paint, and sculpt to their heart’s content. Our distinguished faculty of seasoned and professional artists engage students in ways they never dreamed possible—in everything from jazz band to steel drums, photography to pottery, comedy to drama, and so much more. 85% of students at CHCA engage in Fine Arts.

Along the way, many of our students win local, state, and national recognition through merit awards and scholarships for artistic excellence. And all students at CHCA have a chance to put their creations on display during our annual ArtBeat Fine Arts Festival – one of the largest arts events in our city – and unique among other art schools in Cincinnati.

The arts delight.

At CHCA, you’ll be dazzled by the talent displayed on our stages and walls. But you’ll be even more moved by the smile on your son or daughter’s face as they take their final bow at the end of a show, put the finishing touches on their first portrait, or realize they have a gift they can share with others for the rest of their lives.

Armleder Artist-in-Residence Helps Students Foster Teamwork and Community

Armleder's artist-in-residence this year is local artist, Brandon Hawkins. He and his wife, Ewaniki Hawkins, are the founders of Soul Palette—a company that brings art education and appreciation to life through paint party experiences, lessons, and interactive group projects.  Check out what he's creating along with some AS students this summer.
