International Student Program (ISP) Tuition & Fees

CHCA has allowed me to experience a completely different culture in a Christ-centered environment in which I have been able to make new friends, learn different things and overall, experience the adventure of living abroad.CHCA International Student, Guillermo FarfÁn II

Participation fees are charged for extra-curricular opportunities such as athletics, fine arts, clubs, and some field trip and service immersion experiences. In the Upper School, Gr 7-8 Service Intersession and Gr 9-12 Intersession experiences are not included in tuition. Additional costs also include school supplies, spending money, regional travel, and health expenses not covered by medical insurance. For questions about costs not included in tuition, please ask your International Admissions counselor who will be happy to share additional information.

Tuition Questions

How do I secure my student's placement?

To secure a student’s position, an enrollment contract must be signed and returned in accordance with admissions guidelines and include the appropriate fee(s)/deposit. All contracts become binding on 06/15 for the upcoming school year.

What are the types of enrollment?

There are three ways that students are enrolled in the CHCA International Program:

  • Host Program: Students enroll directly with the school and live with a host family
  • Private Guardian: Students enroll directly with the school and live with a parent or direct relative

Please email international@chca-oh.org with specific information about pricing and what is included for each type of enrolled student.

Does CHCA offer financial assistance?

Although international students are ineligible for tuition assistance at this time, limited scholarship funds may be available to applicants who qualify.  Email international@chca-oh.org for more details.

How is tuition paid and when it's due?

Annual payment due by 06/15 each year. Contact International Admissions for Flywire or wire transfer payment instructions. Please notify International Admissions when payment has been initiated.

Can I receive a refund?

No. All fees, deposits, and tuition payments are non-refundable and contracts become binding, requiring full payment, after 06/15.

Any cancellation of enrollment prior to 06/15 must be made in writing to the International Admissions office and confirmed as received by an Admissions employee. (Application fees and deposits are not refundable even if contract is cancelled prior to 06/15.)
