International Student Program (ISP) Staff
We provide a personalized experience from application to graduation
Meaningful relationships are the key that unlocks new opportunities. As an international student at CHCA, our Engagement Coordinator will help you find ways to grow and share your talents and interests, while you become part of the student community.
We recognize the necessary learning beyond textbooks required for students to be successful in a second language and culture. Through our Foundations class, academic coaching, teacher communication, and integration programs, we create an environment where every student can experience success.
Navigating international study can be challenging, so we are here to help. We connect with families via email, phone calls, and video conferences through every step of the application process. Once you arrive in Cincinnati, the International Office is available in person or via a quick text to help you navigate daily life in your new home and school.

Sharon joined the International Program in 2018 and ensures the academic success of our international students. Sharon's experience as a Student Support Specialist uniquely equips her to come alongside international students as they navigate a new school environment. She teaches the Foundations class that all new international students take, conferences with students, monitors grades, and communicates with teachers. Sharon has volunteered with International Friendships since 2004 where she helps international university students adjust to life in the U.S. In addition, her work with area non-profits and missions trips to India and Bangladesh allow her to appreciate the beauty and distinct nature of other cultures. Sharon strives to help students understand that a firm foundation involving all aspects of living in a second culture is critical. She sees the potential of each student and challenges them to reach for that stronger version of themselves.
