Spelling Bee
Grade Levels:
5-8
Purpose & How do you Register:
Students qualify for the school-wide bee by winning their Language Arts classroom competition. The school champion takes an online spelling/vocabulary test by the end of February to try and qualify for the WCPO 9 On Your Side Regional Spelling Bee. Regional champions compete at the non-local Scripps National Spelling Bee.

CHCA Final Bee: 2/01/24 - 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Founders' Campus Band Room
Online Bees: February 2024
WCPO Regional Bee: March 2024
Scripps National Bee: June 2024

Anticipated # of Students:
Between 18-25 students with 4-6 coming from grades 5-8
Expected Parent Involvement:
- Parents may help their students train for this event; however, the school-wide competition is run by the Language Arts department.
- Parents will receive an email if their child is one of the school-wide bee participants.
