Eagle Ambassadors

Grade Levels:

10-12 (This is for everyone and anyone. You do not have to be previously involved in a CHCA leadership position to apply. We are looking for all sorts of personalities, interests, and passions in our leaders.)

Purpose:

Set direction and create a positive and proactive school culture.  Support and enhance student motivation and commitment. Activities include:

  • Help lead freshmen orientation
  • Lead Connection Bells at all grade levels
  • Lead Upper School tours for potential families and students during both Open House sessions and upon request

Months:

August-May

Practice Day(s) / Time of the Week:

  • All Ambassadors attend their assigned connection bells Monday-Thursday.
  • All Ambassadors meet during Connection Bell every Friday in Mr. Metzger's room.

Cost:

Anticipated # of Students:

30-40 students

Application Process:

Applications happen in the spring. Previous ambassadors must reapply each year.

1. Application and Teacher Recommendation available at the end of Quarter 3; No late applications will be accepted.

2. Interview:  Interviews will be 3-4 applicants and small faculty panel.

3. Notification: Via sealed letter in late April

Important Dates:

Important: All Eagle Ambassadors must attend these 4 events (See school calendar for dates):

  • Ambassador Training: Early August Weekday
  • Freshmen Orientation: Early August Weekday
  • Fall All School Open House: Saturday in November
  • Winter All School Open House: Saturday in mid-late January
