Beak Squad Robotics - North Campus Grades 7-8
Grade Levels:
7-8
Purpose:
The FIRST Robotics program is a unique experience that exposes students to not only engineering, designing, building and programming, but also to marketing, brand identities, website development, publicity, and more!
CHCA’s 7-8th Grade students participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge category (FTC). FTC provides students with real-world engineering challenges in a unique team setting to learn collaboration and problem solving as well as design and programming skills.
Student teams design, build, program, and operate robots to play a floor game in an alliance format. Teams, including coaches and mentors, develop strategy and build robots based on sound engineering principles. It’s “More Than Robots”!
