Beginner Brass Group Lessons  (Gr 5)

Trumpet and Trombone Group Lessons 2020-2021

Learning a musical instrument is an exciting adventure and having a solid foundation greatly enhances the enjoyment and understanding during the most important stage of musical development. Band class is a large ensemble and one-on-one assistance is limited. Enhance your child’s experience with group lessons from August to December taught by Dr. Grantham and Mr. Mangual, Upper School music faculty and professional brass musicians.

The 45-minute lessons are held Tuesdays after school in the Founders’ Campus Band Room. (It is not a problem if you have to leave early or arrive late.) Group lessons incorporate one-on-one instruction as well as small group performances and educational games. We are committed to helping your child enjoy their musical experience and getting started correctly is essential. BBGL is making a noticeable impact! Students who participate are frequently leaders in their music classes, Premier Pops, and Genesis Jazz.

The going rate for most private lessons in Cincinnati is around $30 for 30 minutes. Even if you have to miss a few lessons, $15 for 45 minutes is a more affordable option and having a small group environment is a fun and effective way to learn. Please bring a check payable to CHCA to the first lesson.

To enroll, please email us so we can better prepare. We would also be happy to answer any questions. This quality program will help your child gain a great foundation and have a lot of fun starting their musical journey.

We hope you will join us!
