Armleder String Chamber Ensemble

Grade levels: 4 - 6
Purpose: Weekly group classes for you to learn to play your instrument, develop musical skills, and develop friendships. We will perform in AS chapel, two concerts, and at ArtBeat.
Months: September - May
Day/Times:

Wednesday, 09/06/23 & Thursday, 09/07/23  3:15 - 4:30 p.m. - Introduction Intensive
Wednesdays  3:15 - *4:30 p.m. - Regular Rehearsals starting 09/13/23

*Students not picked up from the AS Lobby by 4:40 p.m. will be sent to Armleder Aftershool Achievers for a daily charge.
Off Campus 
Performance Schedule:		 December – Armleder Gr 1-3 Christmas Concert – Weekday evening - MSL: Lindner Theater
Mid-April (Tuesday prior to ArtBeat - about 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.) - ArtBeat dress rehearsal in the MSL: Lindner Theater
April - ArtBeat – Saturday Afternoon
May– Armleder Gr 4-6 Spring Concert – Weekday evening - MSL: Lindner Theater

*Cost:

$100 for instruction

Instrument Rental (Estimated at $144-$315 per year depending on instrument. We recommend Antonio Violins who will give you the correct size and can easily trade to larger sizes as your child grows.)

Expected Parent Involvement:
  • Secure rental instrument before first rehearsal
  • Assist with practice at home as needed

08/01/23 - 1. ONLINE ACTIVITY REGISTRATION opens
                 2. ONLINE AFTER CARE REGISTRATION is also required

09/06/23 & 09/07/23  3:15 - 4:30 p.m. - Introduction Intensive

09/07/23 - $25 late registration fee begins

09/13/23 @  3:15 - 4:30 p.m. - Regular weekly practices begin

10/21/23 @ 11:59 p.m. - Registration closes
