Upper School Counseling
Where will your path take you?
Your student is uniquely gifted, and we know that students each travel a distinctive path in their educational experience. We also know that a well-laid foundation for that path is critical. That's why our college prep school starts in grade 7 to invite families and students to engage with us on a course that sets each student up for academic success. Once in grade 10, families work with a dedicated counselor to facilitate strong relationships and individualized planning regarding the college process.

What were you made to do?
At CHCA we want to help students use the unique traits gifted to them by God to write a path that is ideal for success. Students work individually with counselors to begin this exploration, going beyond the typical career counseling found in high schools. Using the industry gold-standard tools, we help our students discover their gifts and develop the means they need to achieve their goals. We use the Myers-Briggs personality profile along with the Strong’s Interest Inventory and the Skill Scan to help students pick a major that works with their interests, skills, and values!
Who Will Guide You on your Path?
Meet the Upper School Counseling Team. With a collective total of more than 65 years of experience, our Upper School counseling staff is fully equipped to help you navigate your college preparatory experience. We want to help each student leverage his or her unique God-given gifts, and go forward on a path that is ideal for their journey.
