Head, heart, handsThere’s no simple, one sentence description of “spiritual life.” (Trust us, we looked.) Which we think is kind of neat, especially at CHCA: there are dozens of ways to get closer to God, feel His love, do Kingdom work and develop a deeper understanding of God’s ways, and no one phrase could cover it.
Spiritual life is the soul of everything we do here. We’re by no means perfect, but we do try to live our lives as Jesus’ hands and feet on this earth, and each day brings new lessons in what that looks like. Sometimes we learn these lessons by reading a book about the early church, or singing a new song in chapel, or even just helping a classmate carry his books to class. Simply put, it’s about head (the academic component), heart (chapel, prayer groups) and hands (reaching out in service to others).
And one other thing about spiritual life at CHCA: we don’t hide it under a bushel basket. From concerts to class projects to sporting events, we are all about sharing the Good News. Join us for an upcoming event, visit us during chapel at any of our campuses, pray with us before a football game, or just walk through the halls to get an idea of the people, places and things that remind us about Christ’s love every day.
