"Off the Cuff" Improv Troupe

Grade Levels: 9 - 12
Purpose: Build improv and acting skills in a small group environment, perform 3-4 times a year.
Months: September - April
Practice Schedule: Rehearsals are generally concentrated before an upcoming performance and are created around the team's schedule and the rehearsal schedule for the theatre season productions
Practice Location: MSL Lindner Theater (most of the time)
Performance Schedule: October/November - Preview Show
February - "Off the Cuff" Mainstage Show
Mid-April - ArtBeat performance
End April - “Academy Night Live” - 2 performances
Additional various small performances around the school
Cost: $75 includes T-shirt; $25 late registration fee starts 10/06/23
Anticipated # of Students: 16
Expected Parent Involvement: None
Notes: Performance involvement is based on skill and experience levels. Members are in a constant state of evaluation by the director.

How To Register:
  • Attend audition in early September.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes and come ready to have fun! No preparation necessary.
  • If you are selected for the team, register online and pay fees.

     Thursday, 09/07/23 (during Activity Bell)
     Friday, 09/08/23- 3:00-4:00 p.m.
     Tuesday, 09/12/23 - 5:30-6:30 p.m.

09/14/23 Online registration opens
10/06/23 - $25 late registration fee starts
10/10/23 @ 11:59 p.m. - Registration closes
11/14/23 10/17/23 @ 7:00 p.m. - US 9-12 "Off the Cuff" Improv Show
