FaithWalkers Dance Team (hold for 23-24)

Grade Levels: 1-6 girls and boys
Purpose: Train up God’s children in the spirit of praise and worship, while simultaneously teaching them how to use dance to respectfully express themselves as well as their love for God.
Months: October - May
Practice Schedule: Tuesdays 3:15 – 4:30 p.m.
Additional rehearsals & exceptions will be announced
Practice Location: Piazza (first floor)
Performance Schedule: December - AS Christmas Program - Weeknight Evening
April – ArtBeat – Saturday
Spring – AS Spring Program – Weeknight Evening
School Year - Armleder Chapel Services

Other Opportunities as they arise
Cost: $75 Annual Fee includes dance attire, shoes, and props; $25 late registration fee starts 09/01/23

Registration in Armleder Achievers is required: $25 registration if not already registered; $11/day each day this child attends regardless of how long they stay. Nonrefundable, minimum charge of $11 collected in full at registration.
Anticipated # of Students: First 10 to register
Expected Parent Involvement:
  • Provide a small healthy snack (pretzels, fruit, granola bars, etc.) for your child to eat prior to rehearsal. Water is the only allowed drink.
  • Pick up students by 4:30 pm from AS Lobby or students will be sent to Armleder Achievers for a daily charge.
  • Provide black stretch pants or leggings to wear under dance attire for performances.


Volunteer opportunities:

  • Help with administrative tasks
  • Photography/videography
Notes:
  • Your child has committed to FaithWalkers for the entire year. Understand that attendance is required at all rehearsals except in the case of illness or family emergency. A grace clause allows only 3 unexcused absences for the year. Please contact the sponsor prior to rehearsal if your child cannot attend.
  • CHCA will order these items for each child:  White Tunic  •  Black Shoes  •  Dress

08/01/23 - 1. Online Activity registration opens (Note: Dance attire sizes required during registration)
                     2. online After Care registration is required
09/01/23 - $25 late registration fee starts
09/30/23 @ 11:59 p.m. - Registration closes
10/03/23 from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. - First rehearsal
