xGeography Bee

 

 

 

 

CHCA grade 8 student, Jacob Kaesemeyer,
qualified for state and represented CHCA at the State Geo Bee in Columbus in April 2019.

Way to go Jacob!!

 

Grade Levels: 4 - 8
Purpose: Each year thousands of schools in the United States participate in the National Geographic Bee using materials prepared by the National Geographic Society. The contest is designed to encourage teachers to include geography in their classrooms, spark student interest in the subject, and increase public awareness about geography. Join this year’s Geography Bee and you could make it all the way to Washington, D.C.!
Months: Practice at home as you wish; school bee in early winter
Practice Schedule: Use online study materials and take daily quizzes at National Geographic Bee Study --- this is the #1 best way to practice/prepare for the Bee!
Competition Schedule: The School Bee will be Tuesday, 11/19/19 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the Founder's Campus Gr 7-8 Innovation Space.
Cost: Free!
Anticipated # of Students: 35
Expected Parent Involvement:
  • The CHCA Bee is open for parents to attend and watch
  • Provide transportation
