Who doesn't like a party?CHCA holds plenty of events that bring the entire school community together – parents, students, alumni, friends, grandparents – for fun and fellowship. Below are some annual gatherings that are a special part of life at CHCA. Join us for these and others like Celebration!
Fall FestivalSeptember
School-wide event
There is no better way to kick off the school year and connect with old and new friends than to attend CHCA’s annual Fall Festival. Held each year on the CHCA Middle School grounds, this carnival-like event offers games, food, rides, blow-ups, a ton of prizes, and a whole lot of fellowship. The festival is overseen by the Advancement Office and 100% of the proceeds go toward the operating budget to help keep tuition costs down. While many high school students participate in the festival as volunteers, most attendees are from EBL, Armleder and the Middle School. (These three campuses are dismissed early for the festival.) Grandparents DaySeptember (Armleder) and October (EBL and CHCA MS)
Each fall, we set aside a special day to celebrate our grandparents and special friends by inviting them to campus. They get a chance to visit classrooms, enjoy a program of student-performed music and stories, and see what life is like on CHCA’s campus. Grandparents Day is usually an early dismissal day for Armleder, EBL and CHCA Middle School. Contact your building secretary or refer to the school calendar for more information about Grandparents Day at your school. Enjoy these photos from our 2011 event.
Founders DayOctober School-wide event Every year, we celebrate the miracle of our 1989 founding as a community. Current families, alumni, alumni parents, founders and first families are invited to experience how the miracle has lived on by joining us for music by our student bands, choirs and orchestras; guided tours of our campuses by our student ambassadors; and reflections by alumni, board members and founders. | Martha and Carl H. Lindner III share their experience as one of the founding families of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. |

Homecoming PicnicOctober
School-wide event
Some of the best times happen over a good meal, and the Homecoming Picnic is a great example of that. Taking place on the high school grounds adjacent to the football stadium, this is a chance for alumni, friends and families from all grades to socialize, eat some delicious food, and show their CHCA spirit. The picnic always happens before the Homecoming football game and features live music. Contact Tracy Wolcott, check out the calendar or read Campus Connection for more information about the Homecoming Picnic.
