Prior to joining CHCA in 2009, Marianne worked for 23 years in Undergraduate Admission at Xavier University. She served as Interim Director of Admission from 2006-2008 and as Director of Enrollment Communication until 2009. Marianne serves CHCA juniors and seniors in all areas of academic advising and college guidance. She is a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) and the Ohio Association for College Admissions Counseling (OACAC). Marianne is in the office Monday through Friday.

Monica, who earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Miami University, has worked in college admissions and academic advising at both Miami and the University of Cincinnati. She works with juniors and seniors in the areas of college guidance and academic advisement. Monica is a member of NACAC and OACAC. She is in the office Monday through Friday.

Carol, who has been with CHCA since 1999, has a background in secondary education. Formerly a high school science teacher, she is now a school counselor who works directly with freshmen and sophomores and directs guidance programs across all four grade levels. Carol also coordinates the AP program, PSAT and PLAN testing, special groups (FISC, Divorce Group, NECC), and evening family meetings and workshops.

DeAnne coordinates all guidance programs and services including the senior college application process, Naviance, CHCA College Fair, college representative visits, student scheduling, and PSAT, PLAN and AP testing. She also maintains the Guidance Office calendar and assists the three counselors in working directly with students and families across all four grade levels. DeAnne, who has a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, joined the Guidance Office in 2004.
