At Armleder, all these things are possible. With the outstanding Armleder Celebration Choir, inspiring art classes, diverse extracurricular offerings and a budding instrumental music program, students at CHCA’s downtown campus have a million ways to discover the joys of creativity. Plus, our experienced, committed arts faculty is passionate about finding new ways to inspire young minds: in one class, students might create their own version of Stomp! using brooms and trash can lids; in another, 1st graders read a book about roller coasters and then set to creating their own, 3-dimensional track. Imaginations are ignited, confidence is gained, and a love for the fine arts is born.

All of this revolves around a strong, curriculum-based program that includes an annual visit from an artist-in-residence, dedicated facilities and multiple performances. Our teachers know that when students are able to express themselves, that self-assurance flows into other subject areas too. The result: well-rounded, educated and enthusiastic children who look for the art in everyday life.
