Crayons and construction paper are just the beginning
Anyone who’s ever spent time around a 7-year-old can tell you that for them, creating artwork, dancing and singing aren’t just something fun to do, they’re ways to communicate. So it’s natural that CHCA has plenty of opportunities for our youngest students to express themselves in artistic ways – in the art room, on-site private music lessons, Melody Makers Choir, musicals, chapel, and much more.
Our professional fine arts faculty members are passionate about helping students discover their unique gifts, and our dedicated facilities are perfect for helping them do so. Students don’t have to choose between music and painting – the curriculum-based program lets them experience the arts in a variety of ways, while our extracurricular offerings give them the chance to get creative outside the classroom.
Children find inspiration in a million different ways, and while our students can choose crayons and construction paper to create art, the options don’t end there. They can write a song, create a mosaic, mold clay, play a djembe drum, or paint a still-life, all the while receiving the kind of guidance and support that lets them explore their imagination while learning new ways to express ideas. Just think of the ways your child’s creativity will be sparked at CHCA.
