We have the opportunity to host on Tuesday, 11/28/17, an assembly for our Upper school 7-8 students from 10:30-11:20 am.  The presenter is Stephen Smith who has formerly been the Director of Relationship Marketing for CBTS, but is now independent.  More can be accessed on his site, www.awiredfamily.org  The title of his presentation is, “Social Media: Your Digital Tattoo”.  The purpose of the presentation is to help our students understand more fully the consequences of their social media activity.  A parent information session was held at the high school in September on the same day Mr. Smith presented to 9-12 students.

Each year we review our merit scholarships to ensure we recognize our students who excel academically and/or make an impact on our school community. The Cum Laude Scholarships are significant awards which recognize academically gifted students with proven achievement.  Current students in Grades 6-8 who would like to be considered must take the Independent Schools Entrance Exam (ISEE). The exam is offered by the Admissions Office on the following dates:

  • Saturday, 12/02/17 (registration deadline 11/11/17*)
  • Saturday, 2/10/18 (registration deadline 1/20/18*)
  • Saturday, 4/7/18 (registration deadline 3/17/18*)

The Beacon Scholarships are designed to recognize promising leaders who embody our school mission to fully prepare students for lives of significant impact and influence. Current Grade 8 students interested in being considered for The Beacon Scholarship should follow the application process

Please refer to our website for full details on both of these scholarships, and direct any questions to Natalie Pfister at (513) 247-9944, ext. 222, or email scholarships@chca-oh.org.
