Thessalonians 5:16-18 God clearly spelled out His good and perfect will for us in this Bible verse. Let us be mindful to make it a meaningful time by emphasizing what should be on our hearts every day of the year.
Saturday, 11/18/17, SOS Juniors will meet 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Founders’ Campus in the UE Innovation space assembling snacks for the guests of the Ronald McDonald House (note: this is a change!). Some snacks will be supplied by your SOS Juniors registration fee, but you are invited to donate items as well. Here is a link to RMH’s wish list, which includes guidelines for donated snacks. The two most important requirements are: Donated foods must be store-bought, unopened and within their expiration dates. Avoid items with nuts of any kind. Not registered for SOS Juniors? A big thank you to everyone who served at Saturday’s Open House! The Armleder Ambassadors, staff, Lydia Hansee, Mrs. Jackson-Lackey, Ms. Kinebrew, and Mrs. Wilson did an amazing job of making our guests feel welcome and engaged.

Each year we review our merit scholarships to ensure we recognize our students who excel academically and/or make an impact on our school community. The Cum Laude Scholarships are significant awards that recognize academically gifted students with proven achievement. Current students in grades 6-8 who would like to be considered must take the Independent Schools Entrance Exam (ISEE). The exam is offered by the Admissions Office on the following dates:
- Saturday, 12/02/17 (registration deadline 11/11/17*)
- Saturday, 2/10/18 (registration deadline 1/20/18*)
- Saturday, 4/7/18 (registration deadline 3/17/18*)

If school is officially delayed or closed or students will be released early for weather, the school messaging system will be used to contact families using the phone number(s) you provided when opting into the system. Local news and radio stations will also be notified and communicating that information for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.
- Notifications of Change to Contact Information: Email Registrar@chca-oh.org to update contact phone numbers used by our school messaging system.
- For a delay: Armleder students may arrive at 9:30 a.m. for 9:50 a.m. K-6 start time and 10:00 a.m. start time for PK. Students may not arrive prior to 9:30 a.m.
- For an unplanned early release due to weather, the school messaging system will be used. Please note that there will be no after-school care on early release days.

Congrats to this week's Beacons of the Week, Grade 2 students Claire Marcum and Sarah Kate Rasche, who recently demonstrated CHCA's motto of Learn, Lead, and Serve by cleaning up all of the litter underneath the football bleachers! Read more about their story here.
If you have not done so already, please take a few minutes to complete the CHCA Constituent Survey.This Constituent Survey is an e-survey that provides you with a way to respond to your level of satisfaction covering the wide variety of school programs. All facets of our community are being asked to participate, as this survey is a required part of our ISACS re-accreditation process. The survey can take as little as 10 minutes to complete. We thank you for taking the time to provide your input.
To ensure that you don’t miss important information we communicate by email, please add our domain, chca-oh.org, to your approved senders list. Of late, cinci.rr.com and fuse.net have changed their settings so that many emails from CHCA are being rejected. If you believe you are missing out on emails and have added our domain as an approved sender, please contact your internet provider for additional support or file a help ticket via email hostmaster@fuse.net.
