CHCA Upper School 7-8 & Upper School 9-12 Header
Dean Nicholas, Ph.D., Upper School Principal

Thank you to families who are participating in our community-wide effort to increase understanding of our Upper School philosophy, and start the conversation around how we as parents and school can most effectively partner together to raise Christ-minded young adults in this ever-changing world in which we live.  There are several phases within this important effort. The first was reading the book distributed to all families, “How to Raise an Adult”.  The next is signing up to participate in small groups. You will have the final opportunity to do that at our upcoming coffee talks (see details in All School News).  A final important element of this initiative is to read CHCA's Approach to Upper School, a white paper.

This required form is due by 10/02/17 and requires a signature from parents, students, as well as the Guest’s School Principal. This year, everyone who will or might want to volunteer at the school in any way must now first be fingerprinted and cleared if you have not been fingerprinted by the school within the past 5 years. It only takes about 5 minutes and is done in the Business Office, which has now moved into the house at 8247 E. Kemper.  It is next to the new Welcome Center on the corner of Kemper and Snider, and directly across Kemper from the back of the high school.  You can enter from the house’s driveway off of Kemper, or from the Snider auxiliary parking lot entrance.  You can stop by between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekdays to be fingerprinted, but if you need a time outside those hours, we can accommodate you – just email sarah.ferguson@chca-oh.org.  Thank you!  We appreciate all of our wonderful volunteers!!
