Congratulations to this week's Beacons of the Week, CHCA seniors, Susan Easterday and Ryan Hunt, who were named National Merit Semifinalists! Well done on all of your hard work and accomplishments! 

Dr. Dean Nicholas will be facilitating two open discussions on our community read, "How to Raise an Adult." Don't miss this opportunity to discuss the book and learn how some of the concepts from the book apply in our upper school. The coffee dates are 10/05/17 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Founders' Campus and 10/11/17 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the MSL Upper School. Parents of students of all ages are encouraged to participate in one of these two interactive sessions.

On Monday, 09/25/17,  at 7:00 p.m. in the Lindner Theater, all CHCA PK-Gr 12 parents, as well as parents from other Christian schools in our community, are invited to attend a presentation regarding up-to-date information regarding social media and technology.  The guest speaker is Stephen J. Smith, a much sought after speaker on social media, who helps parents keep up with the ever-changing world of apps and how kids are using them.  He will presenting his Social Media: Your Digital Tattoo program, which teaches families how to responsibly use social media and technology.  Click here to check him out on his website.   Admission is free. Seating is on a first-come first-served basis.  Overflow seating will be available in the MSL High School Cafeteria.

2. Consider resetting your school homepage to www.chca-oh.org/myCHCA or  better yet, the mySchool page that you visit most frequently like www.chca-oh.org/my-lower-school.
    
3. On mobile devices, the 3 lines in a circle (called a "hamburger menu" or "HBM") = navigate between sections, like myArmlederSchool <> myUpperSchool <> Directory <> myAllSchool.
    
4. On mobile devices, the + = dive deeper within a section, so Lower School clubs, Lower School After Care, Lower School Calendars, Lower School School Year Info, etc.
