Curtains Up Afterschool Acting (Gr 3-6)
Provide a fun, supportive environment where each student can sharpen the talent necessary for artistic excellence and develop communication skills that will serve them through every facet of life.
Students learn the fundamentals of acting and knowledge of the stage through theatre games and ensemble exercises aimed at sharpening basic skills--concentration, movement, voice, characterization, and improvisation -- and practical help with auditions and scripts. Students present a short performance at the end of the session.
